Just a few days, Thursday to be exact it was Mickey Singh’s concert at Capris Nightclub here in Vancouver. I’m not going to ramble on and on as to how amazing he sounds live, how extremely good looking he is in person, what he was wearing (a diamond supply tee with a white beater underneath, leather joggers with sleek zipper detailing, nice kicks and an oversized watch, gunmetal I believe) and how I had butterflies in my stomach during the entire duration of his performance. Ok, so maybe not in too much details ha-ha but I had a great night with my close group of friends and the few familiar faces I ran into from the industry. Perhaps, even too great of a night that I lost my damn wallet and for the life of me can’t even re-trace my steps or make sense of how I managed to do that. No, I was not intoxicated out of my mind … but clubbing nights in Vancouver are not complete without a trip to Megabite Pizza and after the two slices I had; everything seems to be a bit of blur ha-ha. Don’t judge … I swear I was actually meant to be 300lbs with the amount of junk I eat.
Anyway, as for my OOTN.. I wanted to step outside my regular bandage skirt + crop top duo or a fitted printed dress of some sort. With the influence of my little brother’s personal style, street style is becoming more and more captivating to me and I love adding my glamorous personal flare to the looks. So street glam it was for Mickey Singh! 😉
I found the perfect acid wash skort for $20 and built my outfit around that. I steered away from color with this look, pairing my skort with a black body suit that exposed just the right amount of skin and black peep-toe lace booties with gold buckle detailing. MY OOTN allowed to me over-accessorize which I rarely get to do with my outfit looks as there is always so much going on with my outfit itself. I did the whole ring stacking game with midi and statement rings in gold, threw on a gold watch layered with spike bracelets on one arm, statement hinge bangles on the opposite arm and spike earrings. I tied the look in together with Diva lipstick from MAC Cosmetics which is the perfect in between burgundy-red lipstick, a dark smokey eye and voluminous tossed curls to one side.
Here is a breakdown of what I was wearing:
‘Beauty is a short lived tyranny’ bodysuit: Forever 21
Acid wash skort: Sirens
Peep-toe booties: Sirens
Earrings/Rings: Forever 21, Aldo Accessories
Bracelets: Armani Exchange
Bangles: Alexis Bittar
Lipstick: MAC Cosmetics
Thanks for reading y’all. Have a fab weekend! Xo.
