New blogging tradition ?! I think so! One of my dearest friends has been advising me for quite some time now to incorporate a shopping haul segment to my blog AND finally I decided to follow through with her request. At the end of every month now, I will be integrating a shopping haul round-up of my personal favorite items bought for the month. January is officially over and I’m aware that I am 2 days late on this post BUT here are my lovely goodies for the month:
– BLACK FUR QUINN CLUTCH from BCBG MAXAZRIA –
When I first saw this clutch … I thought it was absolutely ridiculous and of course eventually it became one of those ‘ I must have you in my life’ pieces. What I love about this particular fabulous evening bag is that it has the knuckle top grip as well as a 10″ chain strap – either way worn looks extremely cute! I cannot wait to pair this faux bird bag with a glamorous gown or digital-printed saree. Oh the anticipation …
– ROSE BROCADE CO-ORDINATE SET from MISSGUIDED –
I have been wanting a coordinated set for quite some time now and I really can’t get over how cheap this particular one was. Fits me like a glove and I feel nothing less then a south-asian barbie doll while wearing it. I really love the refreshing color duo of beiges and baby pinks and the floral, glitzy brocade pattern. Oh so excited to wear these beauties together paired with a cute jacket and some flashy high heels.
– TARAFULUC LEATHER JACKET from ZARA –
Believe it or not I do not own a proper black, leather biker jacket and my closet can’t even deal. I have a few edgy versions of leather jackets and several other bombers and trench coats- YES. I have a serious ‘cool jacket’ addiction BUT what drew me into this particular style was the zipper detailing and the overall tailored fit. As of right now this is the closet addition to that much needed staple piece and perfect for my lazy jeans and graphic tee days.
– PYTHON PRINT KIMONO from GUESS? –
Up for grabs in XXS/XS: http://www.guess.ca/en/Catalog/View/W4FN22W55R0
I don’t think I will ever stop purchasing animal prints – python prints are graciously replacing my love for cheetah as I think I started over-doing it a bit with the particular print; but truthfully a girl can never have too much animal print in her wardrobe. Aside from the prints, I adore the color sequence in this particular kimono and how versatile of a piece it is to style and experiment with.
Hope you all enjoyed reading the first addition of my shopping haul for January! Which of the following pieces from above is your favorite?
PS: This weekend was the Filmfare Awards in Bollywood and I was absolutely floored by what the B-town babes and hunks had worn to most-awaited awards ceremony of the year. I’m starting my round-up this very moment, keep posted! Xo.
